Stars are luminous celestial bodies, burning spheres of energy and light. For many, they are among the most beautiful things we can see with our eyes from Earth—eternal companions in the night sky. Throughout history, we have turned our gaze toward them to seek answers, comfort, and inspiration. In the past, we could only dream of what they were; today, we know they govern much of our lives, from our sense of time to our ecosystems. There are over 300 trillion stars in the universe—and we orbit one of them, like a planet on a skewer.

This is a tribute to the women we don't always see – but whose imprint lives on in all of us.
Those who dared to say no. Those who stood up when it was uncomfortable to stand. Those who paved the way without getting thanked. Those who lived against the wind, but still showed direction.
This exhibition highlights the women who, quietly or loudly, have influenced societies, norms and the lives of other women. It is a story of courage, self-respect and sisterhood. About challenging ideals – and about being able to exist on your own terms.

Mixade Verkligheter
Benjamin Uggla
04.09.25 - 13.09.25
WAY gallery Sthlm presents Mixade Verkligheter (Mixed Realities), by and with Benjamin Uggla, an exhibition where the boundary between truth and imagination dissolves, giving shape to new images of our contemporary moment. Through sculptures, collages, and reliefs, Uggla opens portals to parallel realities, where the familiar is turned upside down and the unexpected emerges with equal parts playfulness and precision.
In a time when reality is constantly filtered, mixed, and distorted, Benjamin Uggla invites us into a space where the everyday and the surreal coexist without hierarchy. Mixade verkligheter (Mixed Realities) is not just an exhibition – it is a collection of visual impressions of our present...

Finklädd och Förtvivlad
Estelle Graf
22.10.25 - 20.11.25
WAY gallery Sthlm presents the exhibition Finklädd och Förtvivlad with Estelle Graf.
With this new body of oil paintings, Estelle Graf continues her exploration of the human condition through a cast of anthropomorphic figures. The works depict scenes of existential struggle, where suit-clad animals step into the room as if frozen in a state between ritual and breakdown. There is always an undertone of absurdity, paired with a subtle sense of unease, echoing the contradictions of contemporary life. The exhibition brings into focus the fragile balance between the desire to uphold appearances and the yearning to shed the façade and reveal one’s true self.

Hello, is it me I am looking for
Maria Sandström
25.09.25 - 18.10.25
WAY gallery Sthlm presents Hello, is it me I am looking for, Maria Sandström’s second solo exhibition at the gallery following 2023’s Naked Ape. The exhibition features painted works and glass sculptures produced at Orranäs glassworks.
In her practice, Sandström explores identity as both role and performance. Her recurring ape figures embody a fractured self – suspended between authenticity and parody, humor and existential unease. With sharp visual presence and narrative sensitivity, the works open a space for reflection on the question: who are we really trying to reach when we send our selves out into the world?
