Cajsa Wessberg - Friend

Cajsa Wessberg is a Swedish artist, illustrator, and model, educated at Beckmans College of Design, where she graduated in Visual Communication in 2015, and has since, completed further studies in Animation for Professionals at Konstfack.

From an early age, she felt a strong pull toward creative expression, and her artistic journey has moved through a wide range of disciplines. From early dreams of becoming an artist, to fashion designer, then graphic designer and illustrator, she has now returned to her original passion for fine art.

Her degree project, Köttdjur, became an award-winning work aimed at children, with the purpose of educating them about the origin of meat. The project included pedagogical toys and visual media - ranging from puzzles and stuffed animals to digital games and posters.

In recent years, Cajsa has also begun working with ceramics, an art form that has offered her a new and more tactile mode of expression. Today, her ceramic works constitute a significant part of her artistic practice.
