Yoyo Nasty is a Stockholm-based artist and illustrator. Her work blends humor and playfulness with bold visual storytelling, often featuring vibrant scenes populated by animals, plants, and other lively motifs. She holds a Master of Fine Art from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design (2019) and a BA in Fashion Design from Beckmans College of Design (2016).

Drawing inspiration from cartoons, Yoyo builds a personal and intuitive visual universe filled with recurring symbols like dogs, tigers, natural elements, and 1980s interior design. These motifs serve as both aesthetic choices and emotional triggers, decorative, nostalgic, and desirable in the moment. Her process is spontaneous and driven by feeling, resulting in dynamic compositions where bold color combinations clash and harmonize in dramatic yet carefully balanced ways.
