The artist and illustrator Yoyo Nasty is known for employing humor and playfulness in her artistic endeavors, where vibrant images often portray lively figures such as animals and plants. Through a method grounded in intuition, Yoyo depicts a personal world that invites the viewer to a imaginative and entertaining experience.
Inspired by cartoons for conveying visual stories and emotions, she explores recurring themes like elements of nature, dogs, tigers, and 80s interiors – subjects she considers decorative, inspiring, or desirable at the moment. Yoyo is passionate about creating a unique and amusing artistic expression, using strong color combinations that collide in a dramatic yet balanced and harmonious manner.
Yoyo Nasty is Stockholm based and has a Master in Fine Art from Konstfack University
