Inventing his own idiosyncratic visual language through exploring an array of diverse objects, including the coveted “Afropicks”, Stockholm based product designer Simon Skinner continues to explore and challenge the meaning behind cultural codes - and identities connected to human behaviour.
His work has been included in group exhibitions at Arkdes, House of Sweden and Volvo Studios. His aforementioned work “Afropicks”, is a winner of Young Swedish Design Talents 2019, and later purchased by Swedish Nationalmuseum.
Simon Skinner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design from Konstfack University in Stockholm, 2018.
