Elina Flyrin is an artist based in Stockholm who through textile, drawing and painting creates imagery which feels familiar yet alien. Within her imagery borders are dissolved to abstraction: borders between the physical and the intangible, the inner and the outer.

The work of Elina encompasses questions and hopes evolving from the inception to the end of the physical body and the life surrounding. The journeys of life within and beyond the body’s time on Earth takes shape in especially the heavy density of textile.

Elina Flyrin graduated from Goldsmiths University of London in 2019.
