Tell us about yourself and your artistic background, education, and previous projects.

I am an artist, illustrator, and designer from Stockholm. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Konstfack. In my practice, I work both on creating my own art and taking on commercial projects.

What is the inspiration behind the artwork(s) and what are your thoughts about them?

I wanted to create a timeless pattern that works year-round, fits into different environments, and suits various occasions. I drew inspiration from nature but aimed to make the pattern somewhat abstract, allowing people to interpret and use their imagination.

Share your thoughts about the collaboration. For example, how has it been working with different types of materials?

Working with textiles and pattern design has always been a dream of mine. Seeing my pattern come to life on fabric, whether it's on a tablecloth or a cushion used for decoration or setting a table, is truly exciting. The pattern comes alive.

Describe your relationship with Designtorget. Do you have any specific memories related to Designtorget, which is now celebrating its 30th anniversary?

Objects from Designtorget have always been a part of my home in one way or another, both during my upbringing and later in adulthood.

Talk about your connection with WAY gallery Sthlm.

Primarily, I've followed WAY gallery's journey through social media, seeing all the talented artists and creators who have exhibited there and how beautifully it has been presented. It's really exciting that I now have the opportunity for a collaboration myself.

How has the experience of this collaboration been? Do you have a summary word for it?

It's been a lot of fun. Having my work in this environment and context, alongside other amazing creators, feels very enjoyable!
